What is a Compassionate Care Program?
Red River Remedy is committed to providing a compassionate care plan for the benefit of qualified patients participating in the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Program. A Compassionate Care Program is a needs-based program where, if eligible, a patient can receive discounts on purchases made at Red River Remedy. It is our way of helping patients in need receive more affordable access to medical marijuana. Arkansas State Law prohibits all deals, discounts, sales or promotions of medical marijuana. Compassionate Care Programs are the only legal way to receive discounts on medical marijuana in the State of Arkansas.

- Veterans Discount – 10% off
- Disability Discount – 10% off
- Senior Discount – 10% off
- Financial Need Discount – 10% off
- Terminally Ill Discount – 20% off
How do I apply?
New patients can apply on their first visit to Red River Remedy. Our Compassionate Care Program application is attached to our New Patient Intake Form. Please bring any necessary documentation with you on your first visit to receive the discount that day. If the documentation is digital you can email it to contact@redriverremedy.com and one of our dispensary technicians will add it to your profile. You can also download the Compassionate Care Program application above, fill it out, and bring it with you on your first visit. Or you can email the completed application and documentation to us beforehand and we can have it ready for you.
Existing patients who have not already applied for the Compassionate Care Program can apply at any time by either downloading the form above or inquiring at reception on your next visit.
What documentation is required?
Documentation is required to receive the Compassionate Care Program discounts. A list of acceptable forms of documentation are as follows:
- Veterans Discount – current military ID, Form DD-214, or Veterans ID
- Disability Discount – Social Security Award Letter, Medicare Card, Medicaid Card
- Senior Discount – a valid state ID
- Financial Need Discount – most recent tax return, prior month paycheck stub from employer, unemployment statement from Social Security, Assistance Agencies, etc.
- Terminally Ill Discount – a doctor’s note or similar verification
